With children, comes responsibility and having been made redundant from her role she decided that she needed to find a vocation that not only captured her interest in glamour and looking good but enabled her to spend valuable time with my children…
After spending so much time sat in salon chair and having had a number of, lets just say, non-professional hair extension administered and removed quickly, she began to see a market for beautiful high quality hair extensions being fitted in the comfort of your own home. The idea of Savoir Hair was born.
Although a start up business Jo wanted to invest in a professional looking website and image but at the right cost with very little capital behind her. Having worked with Jo previously she contacted me for some advise.
Our first challenge was to come up for a name for the business that would convey experience, understanding and a professionalism, the name Savoir-Hair was derived from a play on works from the French saying savoir-flaire: literally, knowing how to do.
Once the logo had been designed the challenge was to create a website that was eye catching, simple and informative whilst integrating with social media channels that Jo was going to use to promote her business.
As part of the service we signed up a new domain, Twitter account andlinkedInprofile. We provided Jo with guidance on how to best achieve the results she desired directly through her own activity. We have also provided support in helping her identify key target audiences and promotional events for her to attend.
All this coupled together Jo’s business was up and trading with a brand, professional website, promotional flyer, social media promotion, SEO and a catalogue of events to attend to promote her services in a matter of weeks.
